Why learn Ableton in person?
Feedback beats tutorials
Videos can show you buttons. They can't hear your track and tell you why the kick is buried. An instructor in the room can, every week.
A real studio, real gear
Classes run inside The Grill Studios in Emeryville: professional monitoring, treated rooms, and the workflow habits that come with them.
1-on-1 time included
Private lessons come with your tuition. Use them for extra support while the course runs, or to keep going once it's done.

We teach both, and the right pick depends on how you like to work. Ableton Live is built around looping, beat making, and live performance, which is why it's a favorite for electronic and hip-hop producers. Prefer a Mac-only, recording-first setup? Look at Logic Pro. Never opened a DAW at all? The Beginner Production Intensive is a focused place to start.
