Where are your music production classes located?
Our campus is at The Grill Studios in Emeryville, CA, right on the Oakland border, minutes from downtown Oakland and Berkeley. Students come from across the East Bay: Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, San Leandro, Hayward, Richmond, and Walnut Creek.
Do I need experience or my own equipment?
No experience is needed for our beginner courses, but you do need your own laptop with your DAW (Ableton Live or Logic Pro) installed, plus headphones. Not sure what to buy? We will help you pick the right setup before you start.
Are classes in person or online?
In person, on purpose. You learn in a professional recording studio with an instructor in the room, in small cohorts. Every session is also recorded, so you can review or catch up anytime.
