What is Anthem?
Anthem Music Academy is a music production program dedicated to providing an immersive, real-world education. Our team brings together educators with lived experience in the music industry to deliver customized, hands-on training that helps musicians of all levels take their skillsets to new heights. Students graduate with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to produce music and pursue a successful career in the industry.
Our Courses
Our courses range from 12–36 hours, with class sizes intentionally kept small to ensure personalized learning experiences. Most courses are 8–12 weeks long, with each class meeting once or twice a week for 3–6 hours.
Pricing is transparent and upfront, and interest-free payment plans are available so students can plan ahead and commit to their educational journey from the start.
See CoursesOur Instructors
Anthem instructors are working musicians and producers — DJs, engineers, songwriters — pulling double duty as educators with degrees and decades of teaching experience between them. They've toured, mixed records you've heard, and taught at colleges around the country.
That mix of industry chops and pedagogical training is the difference: every concept is grounded in how music actually gets made today, and taught in a way that meets you where you are.

The Campus
Our campus is The Grill Studios in Emeryville — a legendary East Bay recording complex with multiple live rooms, control rooms, and production suites. It's where major-label artists track records, and where you'll learn alongside them.
The Grill Studios ↗Why we're different
Most programs teach you to use software. We teach you how to make music. Our instructors are working professionals, our classrooms are real recording studios, and our curriculum is built around the projects you actually want to release. The difference shows up in every record our graduates put out.
