What kind of music school is Anthem?
Anthem Music Academy is a modern music school focused on music production, DJing, beat making, and mixing and mastering. Classes are in person at The Grill Studios in Emeryville, taught in small cohorts by working producers, engineers, and DJs.
Do you teach piano, guitar, or voice lessons?
No. We are not a traditional instrument school. If you want to make beats, produce tracks in Ableton Live or Logic Pro, DJ, or mix and master records, you are in the right place.
Where is the school located?
Our campus is at The Grill Studios in Emeryville, CA, right on the Oakland border. Students commute from across the East Bay: Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, San Leandro, Hayward, Richmond, and Walnut Creek.
Do I need experience to enroll?
No experience is needed for our beginner courses. You do need your own laptop with your DAW (Ableton Live or Logic Pro) installed, plus headphones. Not sure what to buy? We will help you pick the right setup before you start.
How much does it cost?
Each course page links to an enroll page with current schedules and pricing, including monthly payment plans. Every course can be paid in full or split into monthly payments.
