Overview

The Engineering Program

This program is for producers who know their way around a DAW but can’t quite get their mixes to sound "pro" yet. It’s a six-month deep dive designed to bridge that gap. You’ll progress through our intermediate and advanced Mixing & Mastering courses while doing 24 hours of one-on-one mentorship at The Grill Studios. The goal is to get you out of the bedroom producer phase and into a professional workflow.

1-on-1

Mentorship: Work With a Real Engineer

From day one, you'll be paired with one of our in-house engineers; just like a new assistant or team member.

You'll get hands-on experience running sessions, setting up gear, working with artists, and learning what it's really like to operate inside a commercial studio.

Behind the scenes, you'll also be supported by a dedicated Program Advisor who helps coordinate your mentorship experience and ensures you're getting the most out of every opportunity.

Why Different

Bridging the Gap Between Theory and the Control Room

Learn theory in the classroom

Practice it all in real recording sessions

You'll be:

  • 1 In weekly small focus group classes working on your mixing & mastering skills
  • 2 Spending two hours each week 1-on-1 with a real engineer
  • 3 Skilled at mixing for yourself or others

It is a professional transition that replaces simulated learning with real studio reps.

You graduate with a deep technical foundation and the industry-level experience required to operate at a professional engineering standard.
